Noel Gallagher to appear on final season of Chicken Shop Date
Oasis star Noel Gallagher has been confirmed as the next guest to appear on Amelia Dimoldenberg’s Chicken Shop Date.
The singer-songwriter, 59, was revealed as the third guest to appear on the final season of the hit YouTube series which sees Dimoldenberg interview celebrities in local chicken shops, with the interaction framed as a date.
Dimoldenberg, 32, shared a video of the pair sitting across from one another at a chicken restaurant.
Her channel also shared a photograph of the two with the caption: “definitely, maybe Noel Gallagher on Chicken Shop Date.”
The episode will be out on Friday and available to watch on YouTube and Netflix.
It comes ahead of the singer heading back on the road alongside his brother, Liam Gallagher, for the Britpop band’s Oasis Live ’27 tour.
The upcoming tour will see the band perform shows in Scotland, England, Germany, Spain, the Netherlands, France, Italy, the US and Ireland.
The group have had eight UK number one singles and eight UK number one albums, with Wonderwall, Don’t Look Back In Anger and Roll With It among their best-known hits.
Dimoldenberg announced in September that the show, which has more than three million subscribers on YouTube, was coming to an end after more than a decade.
The final season of Chicken Shop Date consists of six episodes and has featured appearances from singers Role Model, also known as Tucker Pillsbury, and Jorja Smith.
The presenter began the series when she was just 17, and moved it to YouTube in 2014.
Some of the most memorable episodes featured interviews with Andrew Garfield, Billie Eilish, Cher, Louis Theroux and Jack Harlow.
